Hey all…
First off, I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and that you all have a safe and happy holiday. Due to an unfortunate situation, I am here at work today and not that I plan on having to do much; it is still throwing a wrench in my holiday itinerary. Never-the-less, I will make the best of my time once that I am out of here and I will just have a little bit of a later start than originally planned. That’s all.
Anyway, today I am going to post a question that might be some good fodder for future conversations with your friends and family. Or, it might just be something that as you read this you will think; who is this numbskull? I am sure you will jump on one side of that fence or the other when the time comes.
On with the question…
This past Tuesday was another episode of Paranormal Tuesday on the old Marconi (sorry that I have not posted any stories about this lately) that posed an interesting topic of discussion…time travel. Well, supposedly there is this guy (who has a friend whose cousin’s neighbor has a brother-in-law….) who has invented some sort of gizmo that will allow someone to move through time. Of course there has to be all sorts of criteria met before the traveler is able to safely move around history with ease. I am still waiting for the show to air when they do the testing of this amazing piece of equipment so I can hear the test results live. That should be some good ear candy there. Regardless of the show and their potential findings, I ask a simple question to you, the reader, about this subject. So, here goes…if you were able to travel through time to anyplace, at any time in history and were only able to witness (not interact or attempt to change) those events, where and what would you want to see? Simple question, huh? So, if you wish to share your thoughts about this, where would you go in time, what would you want to see first hand and just for giggles, what would your reasons be for going there?
Okie dokie, I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday and once I recover from gorging myself on bird and pumpkin pie I hope to have some interesting reading material (or explicit comments, which ever you reply with) on this unusual query.
Bon voyage.
