Hey all…

I must admit, I have to give credit where credit is due, because that’s the type of guy that I am.  Anyway, I have to give kudos to the fine folks in the Sandusky, Ohio region for having probably the most spectacular selection of roller coasters in the entire world in their theme park Cedar Point.  I am not one of the greatest thrill seekers around, but I do enjoy my fair share of having the bajebbers scared out of me.  Being strapped into a bucket that is going a bazillion miles an hour over hills, drops and the occasional loop-de-loop sometimes is not my first choice on the old “let’s have a good time” category.  Yet, on occasion it is just the ticket to break up a boring day and there are some that I do get a kick out of, but when those elementary school kids are hogging all of the seats, well, that’s just too much for me.  Ha, just kidding there.  I don’t mind sharing my seat with them.  Back to my pat on the back…I was checking out their web site (www.cedarpoint.com) and I was so unaware of how impressive their collection of coasters is.  Just to name a few…Top Thrill Dragster, Wicked Twister, Raptor, Millennium Force, Mean Streak, Mantis, Gemini and new for 2007, Maverick.  Mercy, my adrenalin is already peaking.  So, now that I am making my travel plans for next summers vacation, I do believe that I might just have to put this park on my “I might try to do” list.  Well, maybe…maybe not.
