Hey everyone...
After spending a grueling night at work pounding away on the 'puter, shuffling paperwork around from one side of the desk to the other and keeping the coffee pot from running dry...I was asked to assist a friend of mine with their home computer. "If you have some spare time" and if you could help with "just some simple stuff", that is all that needed to be taken care of. Sure. After about six hours of "simple" downloads, defrags, updating virus scanning software, system scans for the usual suspects and manual removal of a year's worth of junk (and there is still more to do) I finally had to call it a day.
Whew, I think I need a break now just from thinking about it.
Anyhow, one of their cats is a real lap dancer. When you sit...she sits kind of cat. Well, me being the cat fan that I am I just couldn't resist letting the little feline snuggle up in my lap and soak up a little attention from the critter. Purr, purr, purr...her little motor just running away. Well, do you know that little spot down the middle of a cat's back...the one that when you scratch it just so they lick uncontrollably? Yeah, well little missy kitty is sitting in my lap while I am scratching away and she has now found a tasty place on the back of my hand to lick with her little sandpaper tounge.
Scratch, scratch, scratch....lick, lick, lick.
I finally had to put miss kitty down after about 10 minutes or so because I noticed that the skin on my hand was starting get a little raw and turning into a bright shade of red. That must have been where the skin use to be. Needless to say, she was not very happy about having to give up her lap space and was not shy about letting me know it either.
So, tonight I look like I have some sort of skin disorder, but it is just a little kitty rash that should clear up in a day or two.
Or, right after a skin graft.
I hope that you all have a super day!
