Hey all...
The three most important things (well, at least that is what they say) in real estate...location, location, location. That may be true, but it really doesn't have anything to do with this entry. Instead, this deals more with the same folks who are the coffee vultures, snack sneakers and those who will only bring empty tupperware containers to a carry in dinner at work.
No, these are the folks who will trudge through rain or snow, heat or cold, night or day just to get out into the parking lot to move their car closer to the front doors of the building. I mean, sure, if my car was parked at the other end of the parking lot because there were no available spaces closer to the building and because of one reason or another the lot emptied and I had nothing else to do, then I would go and move it. What gets me though is when those drivers run out not once, but perhaps two or more times in a shift to relocate their car to another 12x8 patch of asphalt just to save a step or two at the end of their shift. Again, if they were moving their vehicle from say the furthest corner of the lot to one of the first spaces located just outside of the exit. Now that would have been somewhat productive, but what do you say to someone when you have just witnessed them moving there great big old super jumbo family van one spot. One spot! One frigg'n spot!!! Now, is that going to make that much of a difference when it comes time to run out of the place like it was on fire in a race to get on the road home? Was it really worth all of the effort?
So, I guess when it comes to where your car is parked it all comes down to location, location, location.
I'm listening to Devo's "Beautiful World"....yeah, it's a beautiful world.
I hope everyone has a spank'n good day!
