Hey everyone.

Well, let the madness begin.  Seems that last weeks little storm that cut through northwest Florida has put a little wrinkle in the beach going plans.  We found out today that the condos that we all had reservations for next week sustained a little too much damage and the company informed us today that we will not be able to stay there.  So, now we have to scramble to find somewhere else that has vacancies for our party. 

Simple, right?

Needless to say, I have been busier than a three legged cat trying to bury a fresh pooh in the corner of a lit fireplace...it has been a frenzy of dialing and talking to many fine folks who are very understanding of our plight.  We called everywhere that we had phone numbers for from Mobile to east of Panama City, Myrtle Beach and some others, just for fun.  Seems that the only condos available for that week were going to cost almost double to what we already had reservations for.  That stinks!

Well, I bring you good news...no, I didn't just save a bunch of money by switching my car insurance...the young lady who had originally scheduled our condo called us back and let us know that there were some places that had opened up.  The location on the new condos were very close to the original ones, but were about a grand more for the cost.  She told us that since we got pushed out at the last second they are going to let us rent these at a price much closer to our original rate. 

Um, okay.

So, I will get to travel through Snugg's neck of the woods on the way to Fort Walton and hopefully get to relax on some clear beaches.
